Download & watch offline

• Download compatible scenes to your device and keep watching when your server is unavailable.
• Direct Downloads grab the original video over your local network for dramatically faster transfers, with a graceful fallback for scenes that need a server transcode.
• Up to three downloads run at once, and every transfer clearly shows whether it's a direct download or a server transcode.
• A new Downloads tab lets you watch progress, cancel transfers, and see downloaded status right on scene cards.
• Remove a download with a swipe, or use Edit and Select All to clear several at once.

An Offline Home

• Home keeps working when your server is unreachable, with Continue Watching and Available Offline rows for your saved scenes.
• Jump straight from the Available Offline row to your full Downloads list with See All.
• Instead of a blocking error, Home shows a friendly Offline Mode banner and automatically reconnects when your server returns.
• Resume progress is saved while you're offline and synced back to your server once it's reachable again.

Storage controls

• Set an offline storage limit anywhere from 5 GB to 200 GB.
• See live offline usage, available device storage, and how much room is left for new downloads.
• Remove all downloaded media at any time from Settings.

Find things faster

• New global Library Search on Home searches scenes, performers, and studios together — and you can narrow results by type.
• Every library tab keeps its own search, sorting, and filtering tools.
• Press and hold a Continue Watching card to mark a scene as watched without skipping to the end.
• Performer details now show Measurements, Tattoos, Piercings, and Career Length when your server provides them.

Getting around

• The tabs are now Home, Scenes, Downloads, Performers, and Studios.
• Settings has moved to the gear button in the top-right corner of Home.
• Global Library Search lives next to Settings on Home.

Good to know

• Offline download supports compatible MP4, M4V, and MOV scenes. HLS-only scenes can still be streamed but can't be downloaded in this version.
• Downloaded scenes are stored privately on your device and are excluded from iCloud backup.

Browse your library

• Connect to your self-hosted Stash server with its address and an optional API key.
• Save your connection securely in Apple Keychain, or use a session-only connection.
• Browse scenes, performers, and studios in a native dark-mode interface.
• Search, sort, filter, favorite, rate, and edit supported metadata.
• View scene details including studio, performers, tags, date, duration, file info, rating, and description.

Home & playback

• See library stats, recently added scenes, and pick up where you left off with Continue Watching.
• Stream scenes through the native system player with authenticated HLS playback and Picture in Picture.
• Resume progress is saved as you watch and cleared once a scene is nearly finished.

Private by design

• No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
• All content comes from the Stash server you configure — Nova Stashy never hosts or distributes media.
